Basic guidelines for Ops:
- Try to be considerate of your fellow TF members & their follow up attacks.
- When sharing notes about Ops, the beach should always be the 6:00 o-clock reference point. So the core is at the middle of the clock, and the beach will be 6:00 o-clock.
- Don't hog the GBE, especially when the costs rise to high. The next attacker can use the same GBE at a lower price.
- TF members with low strength (say, less than level 17) A & B should be especially careful to avoid taking too much GBE. The members with higher power A & B can be more effective with those tools.
- Try to pick your troops for the mission. Look for favorable matchups, whenever possible.
- Do as much damage to the defenses as possible. It's usually better to use A & B, instead of shocks, against the defenses. Shocks don't do any damage, so they don't help the next attacker. The best time to use shocks during an OP, is when you are already attacking the core.
- Always jump in as soon as possible (good matchup with troops -vs- the op). Don't wait until the last minute, unless you are absolutely sure that you won't miss the deadline to attack. The only exception is when high VP officers save themselves in reserve for a guaranteed cleanup role.

One item to consider, as we take on harder ops, is to designate someone to "bat cleanup" as the last heavy hitter in the roster. We may need to select the heavy hitter for each op, when reviewing the maps we receive. This probably needs to be someone with scorchers or high level heavies/zookas, etc. No funny business with naders or warriors, when it comes to the cleanup role.
We should get everyone to discuss this when we start an op. Keeping 1 heavy hitter is reserve, in case we screw up our initial attacks (far too common, for several of us, me included).
